Live Below the Line

Live Below the Line for Positive Women

Live Below the Line is an innovative awareness and fundraising campaign that’s making a huge difference in the fight against extreme poverty.

Live Below the Line is challenging individuals and communities to see how much change you can make out of £1. By living off just £1 per day for food for 5 days, you will be bringing to life the direct experiences of the 1.4 billion people currently living in extreme poverty and helping to make real change.

Positive Women is taking part in this international campaign and we need you to join us in taking up the challenge. The campaign asks people to eat and drink on £1 a day for 5 days in May, to gain a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live in extreme poverty. We are asking people to participate in this challenge and be part of a global initiative to highlight the fact that 1.4 billion people are living in extreme poverty.

Positive Women provides support and empowers Women and children in Swaziland who desperately want to change their lives. Swaziland is a country in desperate need of support, with the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS of anywhere in the world. Women are often the most disastrously affected with the lowest life expectancy rates for Women in Africa. Aids have seen an entire generation wiped out in Swaziland, leaving children to fend for themselves and their younger siblings. Child headed households are growing and these young people need our support.

In signing up to Live Below the Line for Positive Women you will be helping to support the women and children in Swaziland who are trying to change their own lives for the better.

You can live below the line for Positive Women and make a huge difference to some of the worlds’ poorest people!
